We analyze the system as a whole, paying attention to unique views, key processes and different interface components. We usually test against WCAG 2.2 AA, the standard the European Accessibility Act is enforced on. However if you have specific requirements, for example Level AAA, we can test against them as well and you can later decide whether they are worth the budget.
Manual testing is the foundation
Automated tools catch only about 30% of issues. Every one of them will pass a form that is technically labelled and practically unusable. Our testers work through every flow by hand and judge whether a person could get through it.
Assistive tech in practice
We verify applications using keyboard navigation and leading assistive technologies including VoiceOver on Safari and native iOS as well as NVDA on Windows.
EAA & UX preferences
In line with the European Accessibility Act, we check if your system respects user settings and preferences, such as Windows High Contrast Mode, adjusting text sizing, and spacing.
